Study the provided material

Begin by reading the key resources: WWYD Contest, The Story Behind the Project, Rules, Info, and FAQ. Understanding the context is essential — this contest is not just about writing, but about seeing clearly and thinking deeply.

Take up the Sling — and Choose Your Stone

In this writing contest, we don’t ask you to fight — we ask you to write. Just like David, you now face a giant. But your sling is the pen, and your stones are words.

We seek entries that strike with precision: truths that disturb silence, expose injustice, and awaken public courage.

Write the truth that matters. The truth that can’t be ignored. The truth that echoes.

Let your words be sharp — but your intent just. Let them speak not with hatred, but with clarity, for those who have lost their way.

Submit your entry

Carefully study the idea of the contest and the rules. Prepare everything before submitting your entry through our online platform.

Join the Evaluation — and Watch the Results Unfold

Once the submission deadline passes, your entry will enter a three-phase evaluation process.

First, AI will conduct an initial screening to eliminate off-topic or inadequate submissions.

Then, you’ll become an evaluator yourself — scoring and commenting on ten anonymized entries submitted by fellow participants. This phase sharpens your critical eye and deepens your engagement with the contest.

If your entry ranks among the top 100, it will advance to the public voting round. Here, you can invite friends, family, and the wider public to read and vote — not only for your work, but for any entry that deserves a louder echo.

The final winner will be chosen solely by the public. AI serves as the initial filter, and peer evaluation as the gate to the final stage.

FAQs

Can I submit multiple entries?

Yes, you may submit multiple entries. However, each entry must be submitted through a separate user account to ensure proper tracking and evaluation.

Do I need to reference my sources?

Yes, if your submission includes factual claims or external ideas, proper referencing is required. Use APA style or another recognized academic format. While not all entry formats require citations or sources, maintaining intellectual integrity is expected.

Why is the name of the large EU country omitted?

At this stage of the contest, the identity of the major EU member state remains undisclosed. This is necessary to ensure that participants can engage with the topic from a broad intellectual and ethical perspective without external influences or biases. The anonymization allows for more objective, strategic, and diverse approaches to the moral and legal dilemmas presented.

How many rounds are involved in the evaluation process?

The evaluation includes three rounds :
  1. AI-Supported Initial Screening - AI will filter out entries that do not meet the contest rules or significantly deviate from the topic.
  2. Peer Review Phase - Participants will evaluate each other's entries based on structured criteria.
  3. Public Voting Phase - The best entries from the second round advance to a public vote.

What role does AI play in the contest?

AI has two main roles:
  1. Initial Filtering - AI will filter out entries that contain inappropriate content, including but not limited to hate speech, violence, sexual content, or criminal advocacy.
  2. Supplemental Assessment - AI will generate a short review of each entry, which will serve as a supplementary assessment tool for evaluators in the later rounds. AI will also generate a symbolic alignment score ('PScore') based on philosophical resonance, and provide brief meta-commentary as an additional evaluation layer.
